Statutory Objectives
In exercising its functions, the Authority shall aim to uphold the following foundational principles set out by law.
Fair & Open Gaming
To ensure that remote gaming is conducted in a fair and open way, maintaining transparent operations across all licensed activities.
Player Protection
To protect players and the public against crime, disorder and harm arising from gaming activities.
Vulnerable Person Safeguards
To ensure that children and other vulnerable persons are not harmed or exploited by remote gaming.
Industry Integrity
To maintain the integrity of the industry and of sport and other events on which gaming is conducted.
Gaming Act (Cap. 583)
License types
No person may provide remote gaming to the public, or supply critical gaming systems to such providers, without holding the appropriate licence issued by the Authority.

Online casino, sports betting, poker, bingo and other remote gaming offered directly to players.

Applying for a license
Applications are made in the manner and form specified by the Authority. You must provide all required documentation, pay the prescribed fees, and satisfy the Authority that you are fit and proper and that your systems and controls meet the technical and compliance standards set out in the Act.

Obligations of licence holders
